Development Manager, Italy (Solar)

• 75,000 Euro + 20% Bonus + Profit share Plan

Our client develops, constructs and manages cross-technology renewable energy projects across Italy, the UK and Spain with a number of projects at various stages of development. Our client has a strong track record of delivering renewable energy projects across the UK and Europe they're looking to recruit a Development Manager to the team in Milan. Currently, the organisation has one of Europe's largest solar portfolios at ~11GW.

Responsibilities

•  The Development Manager will monitor and coordinate the delivery of projects from development, through construction and into operation with a focus on Solar & BESS.

• Lead origination efforts with Developers, establish relationships with landowners, government officials, investor representatives and utility officials

• Lead assessment of commercial and contractual terms for each development opportunity

• Develop strong working relationships with development partners in order to ensure obligations are met and to ensure accuracy of board, financial and tax reporting.

 Qualifications

•  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Finance.

• +5 years of experience in renewable energy projects in Italy with a strong track record in project development and delivery. 

• Experience in development or acquisition transactions and development processes of renewable projects in Italy.

• Have a deep understanding of the Italian energy market including, due diligence process, grid connection process, authorization approvals process, market regulation and local conditions.
