Project Engineer - Offshore Wind

Ventus is working with a leading offshore wind developer, to appoint a Project Engineer for its Glasgow Team.

Reporting to  the Technical and Engineering Director, the Project Engineer will be assigned to Design Package Managers to support their delivery of key aspects of the package. You will be involved in writing invitations to tender, tender response assessment and sub package management. Providing support  across the full width of the project you will be exposed to pioneering floating wind hull and mooring designs, sophisticated civil engineering micro tunnel solutions and state of the art electrical transmission and distribution system design. Through these assignments you will be offered the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge of all aspects of an offshore wind project.

Requirements:

  • M Eng or equivalent Degree in any engineering discipline.

  • You have completed an accredited training scheme or have strong evidence of being ready to apply for Chartered status.

  • 5 years + experience of major engineering projects.

  • A personality and capability to grow with the project and take on larger roles in time.

  • An open and collaborative team member.
