Key Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in business growth, through consistent, high-quality delivery against business plan targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

  • Full ‘360’ degree recruitment duties and responsibilities, including generation of sales opportunities / undertaking new client development activity whilst owning and delivering successful outcomes for both new and existing customers via effective candidate acquisition, sourcing, qualification and delivery.

  • Responsibility and accountability for monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Undertake structured and targeted client business development resulting in identification and engagement of key target clients across the international renewable energy sector

  • Candidate identification, engagement, qualification and screening (in person, online and via telephone)

  • Production of high caliber written reports in support of Retained/Executive Search assignments

  • Interviewing candidates both in person and via MS Teams

  • Attending and presenting effectively at client meetings

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Ventus at all times; representing the business in key meetings, industry events and conferences internationally within UK/Ireland, Europe, APAC and Americas regions.

  • Pitch for and secure retained, exclusive and executive search mandates across relevant markets.

  • Promote and position Ventus as the renewable energy industry’s ‘go-to’ search partner.

  • Establish, maintain and develop strong client & candidate relationships due to strong personal brand

  • Keep fully up-to-speed on industry news, regulation, policy and legislation changes, in order to provide unrivalled market insights to our key clients.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to new and existing clients

Education and Experience

  • Degree background is preferrable.

  • Preferably experienced in Executive, Engineering/Technical or Commercial recruitment, ideally within the Renewable Energy sector (other sectors will also be considered e.g. construction, manufacturing or other traditional engineering-based sectors).

  • Passion for the renewable energy sector is essential.

  • Capable of working at speed and meeting tight customer deadlines.

  • Competitive, tenacious and resilient with strong work ethic and personal drive.

  • Results-focused, with a commitment to meeting and exceeding client expectations.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
