Our client develops, constructs and manages cross-technology renewable energy projects across Italy, the UK and Spain with a number of projects at various stages of development. Our client has a strong track record of delivering renewable energy projects across the UK and Europe they're looking to recruit an Engineering Manager (Solar/BESS/Wind) to handle multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of development and construction across Spain.

 

Responsibilities

  • Technical lead for projects under development (in synergy with internal development team and/or external developers);

  • Definition of the preliminary layout of photovoltaic, Wind and BESS plants;

  • Evaluation of the Yield analysis with PVsyst and related sources;

  • Technical design and optimisation of projects in collaboration with the internal technical team, design offices and/or external subcontractors and co-developers.

  • Design iterations for CAPEX optimization;

  • Quality control for all projects engineering work done internally and externally.

  • Coordination of planning design execution.

  • Definition of Technical development guidelines, requirements and protocols, Execution of  technical specifications of the main equipment, Coordination of Technical Due Diligence, internal and external;

  • Generating Grid applications, and leading on Grid Technical analysis, interfacing with DNOs and TSOs, assessing and reviewing Grid offers and managing requirements to participate in capacity tenders.

  • At group level, report to the Engineering Director and actively cooperate with the Global Engineering team on the definition and alignment of design standards, processes and protocols, technical studies and team structure, growth and coordination.

  • Providing constant support to the internal development team.

  • Managing a network of internal and external resources.

  • Coordination with other departments to ensure smooth compliance with internal reporting, processes and protocols.
