Project Manager - Offshore Survey

Ventus is working with a leading survey contractor, to appoint an experienced Project Manager for its Offshore Survey business.

Main Accountabilities:

• Assess operational risks and escalate as necessary, ensuring we anticipate and manage risks effectively.

• Monitor project budgets, assess financial risks, and provide feedback to the sales team, ensuring financial stability.

• Report on project performance against financial and non-financial objectives, ensuring we deliver results that meet our clients' needs.

• Devise and maintain project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Oversee daily project activities and manage project logistics and coordination, ensuring seamless project execution.

• Coordinate with relevant departments (R&D, Operations, Sales, Finance) to successfully plan and execute projects, ensuring we deliver results on time and within budget. Client Relationship Management:

• Build effective client relationships through regular communication and formal presentations, ensuring we exceed clients' expectations.

• Provide operational updates to clients, ensuring transparency in our communication.

• Align projects with client objectives, ensuring we deliver results that meet their needs. Continuous Improvement:

• Explore alternative working methods to enhance project efficiency, ensuring that we continuously improve our processes.

• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes, including lessons learned, ensuring that we build on our successes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Ocean Science, engineering, science-based subject, or related field.

  • Minimum five years of experience in project management or operations management.

  • Fosters a high-performance culture through aligning performance expectations with overall business goals.
